Recovery Slow for Billy Goats Chris Edwards Wednesday, July 8th , 2054 A frustrated Chris Edwards told reporters today that he would be out an additional one week after suffering a relapse in his recovery from a herniated disc. "I thought my recovery was coming along great, but then this happened," the Colorado Billy Goats closer revealed. "It's disappointing. I expected to be back with the team by now." In the 2054 campaign Edwards has 9 saves. In 21 relief appearances he has tossed 27.1 innings, struck out 27 and yielded 14 walks with a 3-3 record. The Colorado reliever has recorded a 4.28 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .189 when he is in the game. |
