Chiefs Wells Out Rest Of Season Tuesday, June 9th , 2054 The season is apparently over for John Wells. The Caldwell Chiefs medical staff informed the club that the center fielder will be out at least 4-5 months with a torn calf muscle. Wells was hurt in the game against Kennesaw while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Wells is batting .294 this season in 16 games with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 15 hits in 51 at-bats. |
