Yucca Valley Defeats Idaho Falls Thursday, September 11th , 2053 The Yucca Valley Yellows ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Idaho Falls Chukars 9-3 to win the 3L A Championship. Yucca Valley won the series 2-1, capturing the title for the 4th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Yucca Valley manager Ricardo Vásquez. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 65-31 and claimed first place in the Menard's A. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and right fielder Juan Páez said the Yellows have "great fans and they deserve this." "I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
