3A's #1 Player, Sterling of Pontiac Monday, July 20th , 2054 When it came to hitting the baseball, David Sterling was in a class by himself in the M3L Single A this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for Pontiac tagged opposing pitchers for a .474 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 9 hits in 19 at-bats, 1 homers, 6 runs scored and 6 RBIs. So far this year in 58 games Sterling is hitting .267 with 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
