The Vancouver Grey Wolves finished the year on a high note by winning the United States Baseball Association crown.
The Grey Wolves claimed the trophy with a 4-0 victory over the Boston Patriots to take the series 4-3.
The winning manager told reporters after the game, "I think the key to success in the playoffs is to get hot at the right time."
Vancouver previously won its 6th league title to qualify for the overall crown.
During the Premier League regular season, the Grey Wolves posted a record of 58-50 and wound up 4th in the standings.
