Trevithick Blasts Cattlemen, Elite Take Game 4, 4-2
The Detroit Elite and the Ft. Worth Cattlemen will take the ToC First Round to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation today, the Elite beat the Cattlemen 4-2 at Detroit Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Detroit third baseman Richard Trevithick went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Trevithick delivered big-time for Detroit, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Marc Potts. The game-changing hit put the Elite on top, 4-2.

Cattlemen manager Scott Thompson did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the Menard's Third League Championship."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 5th , 2054 at The Cattle Pen in Ft. Worth.
