How Sweep it Is! Sacramento Wins SL AAA Championship
It was a glorious moment for Redlegs fans today as Sacramento claimed the 2054 SL AAA Championship title with a 4-0 victory at Sacramento Sanitation Station.

Jubilant Sacramento players swamped each other on the diamond after completing a dominant sweep of the Pennsauken Flyers, as chants of "Thank you, Redlegs" reverberated all around the ballpark.

In the losing dugout, sadness reigned. Flyers skipper Culley Adjeng told reporters it was "hard to describe" the feeling of losing in the SL AAA Championship.

"Your heart is heavy, you are hurting -- it's a very difficult time," he said. "And to be swept is embarrassing. You just want to forget it ever happened."

For the Sacramento Redlegs, it was a season to remember. They finished the regular season with a record of 67-35, good enough for first place in the Silver AAA. Then they topped it off by winning the SL AAA Championship 2-0.
