Home Field Advantage: O'Farrell, Delmarva Open SL A Championship with Win
The Delmarva Gallos topped the Put-In-Bay Commodores, 11-0, in Game 1 of the SL A Championship. Francis O'Farrell was a big contributor. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The win puts Delmarva up, 1-0, in the series.

The Gallos liked what they saw from O'Farrell. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Commodores to no runs on 2 hits over 6.1 innings, and striking out 11.

"It's on me," said Commodores manager Andrés Pérez. "The guys I sent out there today were the wrong ones for the situation. I'll be sure to send the right ones out next time."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Cage in Salisbury.
