Bullets Pull Even With 9-6 Victory
|
The MSL Baltimore Bullets powered past the MSL Hollywood Shredders, 9-6, at MSL Baltimore Ballpark. Laurenço Boturao was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3, to lead the charge. Reliever César Cruz picked up the win. His record improves to 1-3. Christos Waddington took the loss. The Bullets move to 22-22 with the win, while the Shredders drop to 25-19.
Early in the game, center fielder Ronaldo García had a 2-run home run for MSL Baltimore. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Bullets on top, 4-3.
Bullets manager John Moore wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
