Behind an impressive start by Christos Waddington, MSL Hollywood beat MSL Kingston Township, 5-2. Chun-hua Zhào closed the game out for MSL Hollywood, earning his 7th save. MSL Hollywood is 4th in the SL MSL with a record of 20-15.
The result might have been different for MSL Hollywood, had it not been for Huang-di Lan, the 17-year old third baseman . Lan stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put MSL Hollywood up, 4-2. For the game, he had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Waddington said in reaction to the win.
