Hurricanes Win Streak Reaches 8
|
MSL Cape Coral starter Sergio López had a strong outing against the MSL Detroit Elite at MSL Detroit Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Jorge Gallegos got the save, the 7th for him this season. The wins continue to add up for MSL Cape Coral, with the latest making it 8 in a row.
MSL Cape Coral used the clutch hitting of Nicol Steeneveld to snag the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hurricanes ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"I have a really good team behind me," López said. "I trust them 100 percent."
