Lighthouse Top Rocketeers, 7-2
|
MSL Long Island starter Jean-Luc Morand had a strong outing against the MSL Seattle Rocketeers at MSL Long Island Ballpark. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 7-2 win. Morand, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. The current losing streak for MSL Seattle has reached 4 games.
The Lighthouse got a big at-bat from right fielder Juan Medina, who in the bottom of the second hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Lighthouse on top, 3-0.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said MSL Long Island manager Austin Case.
