Condor Collect 3-2 Win Over Leviathan
|
The MSL Santa Catalina Condor took MSL Nova Scotia pitcher Ricardo Tirado's best shot and still were able to claim a win at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark. The final score had MSL Santa Catalina getting past the Leviathan, 3-2. Tirado went 8 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 5. MSL Santa Catalina is now 12-9, while MSL Nova Scotia is 12-9.
MSL Santa Catalina shortstop Martin Drake came through in the clutch. With two down in the top of the 11th, he hit a solo home run to catapult his team to the win.
MSL Nova Scotia manager Bernardo Hernández said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
