Hurricanes Dealt 7-4 Loss by MSL Las Vegas
|
The MSL Las Vegas Flamingos topped the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes, 7-4, in M3L Mexican Summer League action at MSL Las Vegas Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to MSL Las Vegas pitcher and San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic, native José Miranda. Miranda picked up the win for MSL Las Vegas, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. With the win, MSL Las Vegas pushed its record to 11-5.
Lorenzo Gutiérrez, who is tied for 7th in the 3MSL in hits with 19, aided the MSL Las Vegas cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 4 with a double.
