Bacosa Leads MSL Charleston to 9-0 Win
|
The MSL Charleston Battery beat the MSL D.C. Divided, 9-0. MSL Charleston pitcher and Bahile, Philippines, native Omar Bacosa led the way. MSL Charleston now has a record of 6-3.
The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Bacosa. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Battery. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Divided, striking out 9 and scattering 1 hit over 7.2 innings. Bacosa is now 1-0 on the season.
"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Dave Lee.
