Rocketeers Sneak Past Bullets, 2-1

MSL Seattle Rocketeers starter John Haynes turned in a top-notch performance against the MSL Baltimore Bullets at MSL Baltimore Ballpark. The result was a win for the Rocketeers, 2-1. Haynes picked up the win for MSL Seattle, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Pascal Langlet finished the game for MSL Seattle and earned his 1st save.
MSL Seattle used a timely hit from Gertjan Tijl to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rocketeers ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
"We were in it," said MSL Baltimore manager John Moore. "We just didn't score enough runs."
