Late Rally by Rainbow Mermaids Locks Up 3-2 Win

The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids handed the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan a loss at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. Major production was provided by Ricardo Cuellar for MSL Northern Virginia. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. He also added 2 walks. Alberto Martínez closed it out for his 1st save. MSL Northern Virginia is now 2-4.
Cuellar had a timely hit for MSL Northern Virginia in the top of the ninth. With MSL Nova Scotia trailing 2-0, he turned a 2-1 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 3-2, MSL Northern Virginia.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Cuellar.
