MSL Vancouver and MSL Athletic Club KC duked it out and the Grey Wolves came out victorious.
MSL Vancouver used a superb performance from starting pitcher José Silva to down the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18, 3-0. The Grey Wolves now have a mark of 27-19.
Silva made it look effortless. He scattered 2 hits over 8.1 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The MSL Vancouver right-hander encountered little resistance from the MSL Athletic Club KC hitters. His season record is now 7-3.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" MSL Vancouver manager Justin Justice said.
