MSL Boston Makes It 6 Straight with 7-6 Win
|
The MSL Boston Patriots beat the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves, 7-6, in part because of designated hitter Dana Combs. He was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win belongs to Ning Jian in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Brenden Pilgrim took the loss for MSL Vancouver. With the victory, the Patriots record now stands at 20-21.
MSL Boston took a 7-6 lead on Nobuo Kobayashi's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off MSL Vancouver pitcher Brenden Pilgrim in the bottom of the eighth.
"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Kobayashi said (again).
