MSL Ft. Worth and MSL Athletic Club KC got after it at MSL ACKC Ballpark.
The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen coasted to a win over the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18, 11-0. Tenho Rautee had a good day at the plate for MSL Ft. Worth. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Francisco Rodríguez sewed up the save, his 2nd.
MSL Ft. Worth used the bat of Ángelo Tapián to capture the win. The catcher jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Cattlemen ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Tapián told the MSL Ft. Worth Citizen.
The Cattlemen raised their record to 13-20.
