White Walkers Run Win Streak to 9
|
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers beat the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18, 4-1, at MSL ACKC Ballpark. Starting pitcher Cisco Rodríguez was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Rodríguez, now 2-2, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Chris van Zelst earned save number 1 this season.
MSL Buffalo relied on the hitting of Gerald Bolam to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the White Walkers on top, 3-0. For the game, Bolam had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
