The MSL New Orleans Voodoo racked up a win at MSL New Orleans Ballpark, bumping off the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves, 5-3. Logan Mashiter, who started for MSL New Orleans, pitched effectively for his team. Mashiter picked up the win for MSL New Orleans, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-5. Hua-ding Zhào locked down his 3rd save.

The Grey Wolves had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Voodoo going into the bottom of the third inning. That changed quickly when the 18-year old center fielder Mike Armstrong came to the plate. Armstrong hit a 3-run home run on a first pitch fastball from MSL Vancouver hurler Edgardo Cuellar. It was Armstrong's 3rd home run of the year.

"Logan is tough when he's hitting his spots," said MSL New Orleans manager Don Skerrett.

With the win, MSL New Orleans has a record of 11-12. MSL Vancouver falls to 14-9.
