White Walkers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat 84s, 2-1
|
MSL Buffalo White Walkers starter Kien Ou-yang was in fine form against the MSL Greenville 84s at MSL Greenville Ballpark, leading his team to a win, 2-1. MSL Buffalo reliever Dong-hua Wang picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Raúl Rodríguez took the loss. Bob Hampton finished the game for MSL Buffalo and earned his 5th save.
MSL Buffalo used a clutch hit from Kidlat Karaganilla to get the win. The right fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Every loss stings," said MSL Greenville manager Ryan Gross. "This one is no exception."
At 9-6, the White Walkers find themselves in third place in the PL MSL.
