Flint Park was the site of a tense game between the Long Island Ducks and Flint Crush.

Long Island pitcher Mark García gave the Crush all they could handle, but in the end, Flint left Flint Park with a win, 2-1. García allowed 2 runs on 4 hits over 8 innings. With the victory, the Crush record now stands at 29-18.

In the bottom of the seventh, Flint center fielder Roy Hewat hit a two-strike fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It put the Crush up, 2-1.

"We were in it," said Long Island manager Kevin Montgomery. "We just didn't score enough runs."
