Small Plays Big Role in Napanee Win
|
In a tight affair between the Napanee Express and the Northwest Territory Beavers, pitcher Edward Small was in the zone. The Napanee right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. Chris George picked up the save for Napanee, his 3rd of the year. With the win over Northwest Territory, the Express improved to 46-50.
Small tossed 105 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Express. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 11 strikeouts in the game.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Robert Acker.
