Angel Kitties Down Rhinos, 5-4
|
Redwood left fielder Ricardo Cantú had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Cantú hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, even as Bethlehem beat the Rhinos, 5-4. Luka Bachev sewed up the save, his 16th. At 54-38, the Angel Kitties claim third place in the Silver Low A.
Making an impact for the home team was Cody McGrann. In the bottom of the third, the 20-year old shortstop had a run-scoring ground out. That made the score 4-3, Angel Kitties.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," McGrann told the Bethlehem Daily.
