Quebec City used a well-timed hit by Terry Reed to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Reginald was throwing free and easy," said Quebec City manager Andrés Ventura.
