Carter Plays Big Role in Tulsa Win
|
Derek Carter was superb against Ellesmere Island. The right-hander had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Otters victory. The score was 7-1. For the Snowpeople, the loss makes them 5-9.
Carter earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Tulsa. The native of Security-Widefield, Colorado, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 9. Ellesmere Island hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
