Pinkman Delivers 4-2 Win
|
Brian Pinkman was outstanding against Beaumont. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the SA- with a 0.95 WHIP, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Express 4-2 win. The last-place Crossbeaus have dropped 12 straight games.
Pinkman was effective for Napanee, seldom allowing the Crossbeaus to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 112 pitches over 7.1 innings. He limited Beaumont to just 2 runs on 2 hits.
"We're in a funk right now," said Beaumont skipper Manny Gonzáles.
