Krause Leads Ballard to 2-0 Win
|
The Ballard Beavers picked up a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque, knocking off the Germantown Uruguayans, 2-0. Starting pitcher Phil Krause was a big reason why. The Beavers sit in 4th place in the Silver Low A with a record of 31-23.
The Uruguayans had little chance against Krause, who overpowered Germantown hitters and struck out 11.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Ballard manager Markus Richardson said.
