Quebec City had no answer for Bethlehem Angel Kitties hurler Mike Thomas, who overwhelmed Baby Blues hitters as the Angel Kitties coasted to victory, 6-1. The winning pitcher was Thomas, now 4-5. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 8. Luka Bachev finished to wrap up his 2nd save.
In the bottom of the fourth, Bethlehem right fielder Shane Tate had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Tate stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 4-0, Bethlehem. For the game, he was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Mike is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Bethlehem manager Justin Broadfoot.
At 29-21, the Angel Kitties find themselves in 4th place in the Silver Low A.
