Quebec City got a strong outing from Mitsunari Nakagawa as the Baby Blues defeated the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 3-0, at Kittie Park. Juan Sánchez earned the save, his 1st, for the Baby Blues. With the victory, the Baby Blues upped their record to 30-19.
Nakagawa, who was born in Fujishiro, Japan, threw 96 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Nakagawa. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
