The Ladue Rams and Ballard Beavers played an exciting game.
Ladue starter Pedro Soto had a strong outing against the Ballard Beavers at The Beaver Dam. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Mario González picked up the save, his 11th.
Bryan Starling, the Ladue catcher, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to make the score 4-0, Rams. For the game, Starling was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Soto told the Ladue Gazette.
The 7th-place Rams improved to 21-27.
