Taylor Leads Beaumont to 2-1 Win
|
Beaumont Crossbeaus starter Jason Taylor was in fine form against the Quebec City Baby Blues at The Target, leading his team to a win, 2-1. At 13-35, the Crossbeaus are currently last in the Silver Low A.
The standout performance belonged to 19-year-old Taylor. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Crossbeaus. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Baby Blues, striking out 8 and scattering 5 hits over 8 innings. Taylor is now 2-5 on the season.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Taylor.
