The Maine Sea Dogs got a superb performance from pitcher Max von Wildungen, but the Ogallala Octopi still won the game, 6-5. von Wildungen threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win belongs to Alexander Monroe in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Ernie Watts took the loss for Maine. Ogallala is in 9th place in the Premier Low A with a record of 40-54.

Wen Lau was the walk-off hero for Ogallala. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Octopi catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
