Centennial center fielder Pedro Cortés put his stamp on his team's 4-3 win over the Hicksville Hounds. Cortés went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Fort Knox in the contest. Fort Knox is now 50-39, Hicksville 44-45.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Cortés hit a fastball from Juliano Chianca for a solo home run. The Centennial, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I'm a bit of a clubhouse prankster," said Cortés. "But it's all business when we're on the field."
