5-2 Loss Extends Shady Side Losing Streak
|
The Watford City Trash Pandas beat the Shady Side Zoomies, 5-2. Watford City pitcher and Trujillo, Venezuela, native Enrique Martínez led the way. The save went to James Little, number 16 for him. Watford City has a 4-game win streak, while Shady Side has lost 6 in a row.
In the bottom of the sixth, Watford City center fielder Huell Babineaux put his team on top. With two out and a runner on 1st, he hit his 5th home run of the year. Shady Side pitcher Clarence Hayes served it up. Just like that, the Trash Pandas were ahead, 3-2.
"Feels good to get the job done," Martínez said after the game.
