Corrigan, Trash Pandas Beat U-21, 7-3
|
A 7-RBI performance from Jason Corrigan helped the Watford City Trash Pandas beat the Athletic Club KC U-21, 7-3. With the victory, the Trash Pandas record now stands at 37-32.
Corrigan contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Watford City in the top of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Corrigan took a fastball from Gabriel Soto and stroked the home run to right-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Trash Pandas to leap in front, 4-2.
"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Corrigan told the Watford City Chronicle. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
