Watford City starter Warren Wilson put a stranglehold on the Ogallala offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Trash Pandas to a 2-0 win. In 5.1 innings, Wilson surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. James Little recorded his 13th save for Watford City.

The Trash Pandas had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 2-0, Watford City, with no one out. Ogallala, with the bases empty, was mounting a threat. Steef Advocaat dug in at the plate, but on a 3-1 cutter, he grounded out.
