Hounds Suffer 4-2 Setback
The Maine Sea Dogs picked up a win at Hound Pound, taking down the Hicksville Hounds, 4-2. Starting pitcher Sacha Fortunov was a big reason why. Getting the save was Don Thompson, his 6th. The Sea Dogs are now 20-22, while the Hounds fall to 20-22.

Maine used the timely hitting of Gilbert Bishop to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sea Dogs on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Fortunov.
