Cajuns Walk It Off for 10th Win of Season
|
Fans watched the Crowley Cajuns and the Amarillo Warheads fight to the finish.
The Crowley Cajuns did just enough to secure a victory over the Amarillo Warheads, 5-4, at Titans Ballpark. Nobody did more than left fielder Always Wright. Early on, the Cajuns, at 10-3, have excelled.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Crowley trailing 4-2, Wright hit a changeup from Norman Ayres for a 3-run home run, giving the Cajuns the walk-off win.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Wright after the game.
