Trash Panda Field was the site of a competitive game between the Watford City Trash Pandas and Hicksville Hounds.
The Hicksville Hounds eked out a 3-2 win versus the Watford City Trash Pandas at Trash Panda Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Ramiro Tapián. He was terrific. Tapián went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 3, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-1. Juliano Chianca closed the game out for Hicksville, earning his 2nd save.
Rick Peters didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to put Hicksville on top, 1-0.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Watford City manager Luis García.
The win gives Hicksville a record of 5-6.
