Seahawks Defeat Reapers, 4-3
|
Myrtle Beach pitcher Ben Brock did his part in helping his team beat the Grim Reapers, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Seahawks now have a record of 40-29.
The Seahawks procured the win, in large part because of catcher Jake Walshe. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Walshe.
