Crawdads Trip Caterpillars, 3-2, in Extra Innings
|
The Cut Off Crawdads did just enough to sneak past the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 3-2, at The Cocoon. Cut Off pitcher J.J. Hebert, in particular, had a standout performance. The third-place Crawdads now have a win-loss record of 40-26.
Hebert threw well for Cut Off, thwarting the Grand Forks offense. The right-hander tossed 91 pitches over 8 innings. He allowed just 2 runs on 2 hits.
"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Manuel Barrios, the Cut Off skipper.
