Arryns Take Down Reapers, 6-4
|
Zebulon Pike was superb against Grim. The right-hander, who is rated as the 11th best prospect by BNN, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Arryns victory. The score was 6-4. The winner in relief was Horace Farris. He is now 1-2. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. With the victory, the Arryns record now stands at 36-26.
Lake Erie used the clutch hitting of Richard Oliver to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the 11th inning to give the Arryns the lead, 6-4. For the game, Oliver had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Pike said.
