Walla Walla Edges Myrtle Beach, 1-0, O'Neill Ks 9
|
Seahwaks Stadium hosted a real pitchers' duel.
In a well-pitched game between the Walla Walla Walleye and the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, pitcher Tyler O'Neill was superb. The Walla Walla right-hander helped his team win, 1-0. The Walleye now have a mark of 32-19.
The Walleye liked what they saw from O'Neill. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Seahawks to no runs on 2 hits over 6.2 innings, and striking out 9.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said O'Neill.
