Voodoo Fall Short, 4-3, at Boston
|
Boston Patriots starter Nicky Bogdan pitched a strong game against the New Orleans Voodoo at Dunkin Donuts Park, leading the Patriots to victory, 4-3. Mitch Henley closed it out for his 1st save. The loss puts New Orleans at 6-7.
In the bottom of the sixth, Boston designated hitter Jean Kools gave his team the lead. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Midnight hit his 3rd home run of the year. New Orleans pitcher Santiago Proximo surrendered it. With that, the Patriots jumped in front, 4-2.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Kools.
