Walleye Come Back Late to Clip Seahawks
|
Walla Walla pitcher Steve Stevens did his part in helping his team beat the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 1-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Myrtle Beach's current losing streak is now 5 games.
Quinn Moore was the walk-off hero for Walla Walla. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Walleye second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Moore said.
