Caterpillars Stop Crawdads, 3-1

The Grand Forks Caterpillars had to overcome a good performance from Cut Off pitcher Jessie Wolfe to claim a 3-1 win at Crawdads Field. Wolfe went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Picking up the save was Richard Kinmont, his 7th. Grand Forks now has a record of 12-11 with the win.
Grand Forks used a clutch hit from William Benjamin to snatch the win. The left fielder belted a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Caterpillars ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
Benjamin told a Grand Forks Today reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
