Seahawks Come Up Short at Walla Walla, 5-4
The Walla Walla Walleye and Myrtle Beach Seahawks obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

The Walla Walla Walleye faced a tough opponent in Myrtle Beach pitcher Kel Ellis, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Walleye Tank by a final score of 5-4. Ellis went 5.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Walla Walla pitcher Rubén Montalvo got the win. He's now 2-0. Edgardo Rivera was tagged with the loss.

Had Todd Harmon not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Harmon hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Walleye.

"A great game, a great day," said Harmon about the win. "I can't complain."

The win puts the Walleye at 12-10, while the Seahawks drop to 12-10.
